Wallpaper Monday [269] – Blue Fire

Thanks for downloading!

269_Blue Fire_Blog

Hey guys. It has been a while since I wrote on here but i am happy to be back from a 2 week trip in Europe (Stockholm, Iceland and Copenhagen). If you follow me on Instagram, @truthslinger, you can see a lot more of the images I shot even before they hit the blog. It was amazing, especially Iceland, which I’ve always wanted to visit and so amazed that it happened sooner than I would have ever imagined. This photo is from Iceland. These flowers, lupin’s grow wildly in Iceland. Apparently they were introduced there in the early 20th century and now they grow almost everywhere. My first night in Iceland, I was greeted by the midnight sunset (literally, the sun set at 12.20am) and I was driving to my campsite when I saw the sun set and I had to stop and shoot. Saw these flowers and the combination with the sunset killed me. Like fire and ice. Blue Fire.

If you like the wallpaper, you should download it [for free] from the links above and below this post or via the “Wallpaper Monday” App for Android.

For those that require a larger size, you can now download it in 4k (3840×2025).

Beautiful! The late night sunsets really jazzed me when I was in France…loved it though coz I could get stuff done even when it was “night” time hehe. Iceland….mmhh, may be I should add that on my list 😉

    • Iceland should definitely be on any list of amazing places in the world. Very different from other European cities or countries but if you love the raw power of nature then Iceland is a place to see. To be silent with crashing waves or mountains and feel that biting cold nip you does keep you alive.

      And thank you.

    • Thank you Diana. I really loved it there and this being the first day, Iceland was off to a banging start. Will be blogging more about this place.
